This is bloody funny when you think about - the bit about Simon thinking that Gonands had the biggest tyres and then correcting himself when he had a look at Antunacs.

Remember guys - this is an edited video - not a live coverage. If they wanted to get their facts straight they would have just shown a bit about Antunacs tyres being the biggest and would not have mentioned that Gonands had the biggest. This is their video and they put whatever in the video they want. They said that Gonands tyres were the biggest and then said they were mistaken and Antunacs were the biggest for effect......so now everybody knows that Gonands runs bloody big tyres and Antunacs are even bigger. You guys picked up on it and everybody else probably picked up on it as well - I think they got their point across and you guys ate it :D

Like Tony said - these guys are doing massive things for 4wd sport in Australia and I can guarantee that they arnt doing it for the money.

Here here, Sam. Looking for sponsorship for the 4x4 Super Truck Series has been much easier as we have been able to quote that 4wd TV and ORP will be there.

Any way I am placing my trust in the ability and dedication of Simon and Miranda ( and Tom) at 4wd TV. They produced the ad that is running during the show and I love it, they seem to connect with what the viewers want and generates results for us advertisers and enjoyable veiwing for the public.

for those out of Vic the ad can be downloaded at www.4x4supertrucks.com.au

Ciao

You are, Mike Smith, Trent Lean, Matt Pasani, and Brett Scrivner should be here. We have approx 15 entries so far and would like 30, with a max of 38.

All the info is at www.4x4supertrucks.com.au or give them a call on 03 9798 8522.

Birdy is also in now and Andrew Cassar from On Track in Keilor will be helping out in the pits.

The interest for the expo sites is also growing so we should see some good displays also.

We have started laying out the tracks...one course has a huge sweeping bend that will be hosed down to keep the trucks sideways and there will be a huge slalem type course cut into a steep V ditch where drivers will have to plane sideways up and down the banks alternating from side to side.

Only one week to go guys, should be awesome.

Friday night also saw some of the 4bies at the drags at Calder to promote the event...we should have the footage (burn outs and drags on the show in a few weeks).

sounds like it was a fun day. What a pitty it had to be on the same day as the Sandown 500. Maybe next year you would get more ppl there if the days were different as alot of ppl are into both types of motor racing.
Ill be there next year if the dates are different.

there was a huge turnout anyway. i heard one of the caterers say they had undercatered and were surprised by the turnout. could have been a few more competitors though.

Was a great day, have a few pics on the camera which i'll upload tomorrow.

The guy driving the little black zook looked to be having fun and the guy driving the white 75 series extra cab with the pink bits must have one hell of a sore neck from his nose dive

Just a pity there seemed to be no advetising for the event. Did clubs get any info about it, what about 4wd stores etc.

This is definetly what Vic needs on the competion scene but lots more notice and info needs to supplied to people I reckon

Super Trucks

Great pics and vid.

Weather looked typically Melbourne.

Looks like it went really well and seems like plenty of photography going on. The publicity of this will boost numbers for the next for sure.

Great job Pondy!

How many people roughly??
