Cup Holders

Post by CheesePony »

Hey guys,

First time poster, long time reader.

I've got a 91' Hilux, and am just wondering if they came with cup holders? Theres a section just under the vents that doesn't come out etc. I'm just wondering if it's possible the cup holders were there? This bit:

Anyway, i'm really sick of dropping coké on my lap, and hot coffee on the nuts isn't that cool.

Thanks guys!

That littrle bit unscrews from the back (pull the dash trim offf) and the cup holder out of a surf will fit straight in, needs a bit of filing to fit a 600ml coke though but otherwise ok...

PS welcome to the board :D

I am only taking a guess, but i would assume a 98'+ model Hilux one would fit in there aswell. Main difference is it has spring loaded sides so a 600ml slips straight in without any modifications and the side then clamps back down on the bottle. Best cup holder i have come across in any vehicle.

Mine was out of a surf dash as they had the same knock out space. Had a look at the cup holder in my mates lux (that spring loaded one) and it looks a heap narrower than the one I got so I'm not sure it would fit as easily.
