petrol 3y..after doin alot of work to her new radiator new points timing,cooling flush.when it is started in the morning it is a very rough idle when reved seems to miss [not sure why].it continues to heat up not right up it goes to the top of the white and that is as far as it goes when u come to a town it drops back down to halfway..also when you turn the engine off it pre ignites and seemed to use a hell of a lot of fuel 1500 ks cost me well over 500 bucks any help or suggestions would be most appreciated

Sounds like your timing is out and for your radiator could be your thermistat

Yep it defenitely sounds like the timing is out as per 4sum4 said make sure your distrubutor timing is set in time with the cam and crankshaft. shuldnt be hard, take ur time
