Ok, going for a trip soon, brakes aren't too good so decide to get it done before my next trip, sooooo, thursday morning, mech comes over to replace worn brake shoes - takes rear wheel off - axle grease in said wheel - axle seals need doing, DO'H , ok, so i guess it needs doing...
"how long and how much???" "Well, i havta pull the axle out so... blah blah blah..." now, lil reduction gears in my head start turning.... if he's pulling the rear axle out, while he's there, he can replace the suspension sooo, after about an hour on the phone ringing round and getting parts and prices, i am getting 2" suspension lift on Monday ( x5000 ) so a $50 set of brake shoes, has now snowballed into 1400 odd bux , the credit cards gonna be sore after this one
BTW, is $610 a good price for new springs + 2" with U bolts???
