1 litre redline

Post by Santos »

Any idea where a F10a 1l redline is?
Did any of the other suzi's sporting this motor come with a tacho
( carry or alto?)

it's suppose to develop peak PS(HP) @5000rpm

The 1.3l develops peak PS @ 5500rpm and redlines 6500rpm

Would the it be as simple as adding 1000rpm to the peak power?

I found out how hard my 1.3ltr injected and turbo'd revved.
My recall on my tacho sits proudly at 9200RPM.
A little shame the big ends did'nt sit as proud.....
Oh well gave me an excuse to swap it for a 1.6ltr....

Hi Santo, Did you make it to the snow? only got up for 1 day.
I find the power band on my 1ltr to be between 3000-5000rpm. its just not Worth reving it more than 5200 rpm. mind you, if the carby was increased in size ( maybe 1 3/4 or 2 inch SU ) and a larger exhaust, Im sure it would go harder.
I know Ive talked about doing this before, but Ive decided to go the 1.3 and 5speed option and go from there.
Wish list. jimny efi motor with low boost turbo.

YEs got back last week... went to Queenstown NZ.
3 days of snowboarding 4 days of foggy crap which led me to pursue other interest like canyon jump/freefall and white water rafting :D

Next year i'm driving down and dragging your arse to the snow. 1 day is pathetic for a canberra district resident :P

hey if you want to go the 1.3l route that's cooll you know my sentiments about factory block numbers matching in my Zooks.
I'll just have to pioneer the 1l rice tech on my own

I'll make sure that if i see a cheap G13bb you are the first to know

lol generic one is not a prob, i was curious where to set the redline... but where it pings is a good awnser :D (funny though cause i once read it was designed to run on 85 octane  pinging may be a issue even on regular)

The f6 is great motor but that is not why i'm asking

mine does 5500 at 110kmh, and did it no stress.
Has a pod filter, throtel body spacer, no engine fan(themo), extractors and 2" exhaust, mods might help.

Sweet i'll set 5500 as hard redline (i always like to do some preliminary planning before i buy a zook)

I said it last year and i'll say it this year... two Zooks isn't greedy is it

Now any 1l here thought of pullng out the forth gear and whacking in the 4th and 5th gear from a 1l supercarry :?
