Drilling Front Diff on MQ
Drilling Front Diff on MQ
Ok people - just want some re-assurance, on the MQ/MK front diff housing there are 2 small plates that are formed into the casing on the housing near the pinion wheel; - one hits a bump stop in the engine bay. Ok thats as good as I can describe them other than saying they look like big cooling fins (which I know they aint really)
My question is follows: Can I drill thru them for what ever reason - they look strong enough for a couple of 5mm holes or so not near the edges though.... will this effect its performance or strength? I doubt it but please confirm or deny my doubts.
