I've done a search and couldnt find any relevant information on installing a pirhana system on a GQ patrol. Does anyone out there have basic installation instructions or can send me somewhere that does?
Cheers
Simon

It fairly easy, to do you need a bench grinder though.
Wiring: Just Follow the wiring instructions
Dizzy: \
1. Disconnect loom running out of the dizzy (cable tied to top radiator hose from memory)
2. Take apart dizzy, take out points etc (save them they can be put back in with a screwdriver while halfway up a track)
3. Put a GOOD philips head srewdriver down the middle of the shaft, and undo the screw, this removes the top half of the shaft, you have to use a bench grinder or similar to grind the collar thing (you will know what I mean when you see it) down so that you can fit the six slotted disk over it.
4. Put the shaft back on, then just put in the optical sensor and chpper disk on at the same time and screw it all back together.
Dont forget your rotor On that note, while your at it get an extended rotor gives you better spark.
If you have any more questions let me know or if you need a hand let me know, Im in rowville, bring me a six pack and I'll help you do it (used to fit heaps when I worked at Piranha)
