need help with 60 series leaf springs

hi guys the situation is that i have a 45 series tube tray ute with 60 series springs and the springs are to stiff therefor limiting my travel and being uncomfortable to ride in. i was going to take some of the leaves out but i don't want to drop the height to much... anyone got any ideas??

Remove a few of the smaller leaves from the bottom...2 or 3 then test it and keep removing untill you find a good compromise.

If you remove a longer leaf (3rd from the top is a good one) it will change the spring rate more than a short one.
