Hi Guys,
Anyone know of a fuel pump that has an altitude compensator/Fuel Anaroyde/Boost compensator (it goes by all of these names) that will fit a 3L motor?
Note must fit and pump enough but not too much diesel.

An altitude compensater or aneroid is diff to a boost compensater. The altitude ones lessens fuel delivery when atmospheric pressure becomes less. It has a sealed bellows inside. The boost comp has a diaphragm, which supples more fuel according to positive pressure supplied to it.
No they are not able to be converted to each other easily.

compensator
All of the turbo shops reckon they are the same thing, where did you get your info from Dzltec? (Not trying to be smart i just want to be sure)
If your info is correct; i am guessing i need a boost one then since it is because i am adding a turbo? Is this right for a diesel?

they are not the same - they look similar ant they do different things. it is probably possible to convert but not easy. unless you are going for huge boost (which will kill a 3L anyway), you do not NEED a boost compensator - they are mostly an emissions device, and they help keep your oil clear of soot if you do a lot of city, stop/start driving, but do not make much difference to peak power/torque - and of course avoid the ugly cloud when you take off.
turbo away and boost up and don't worry too much about it.
