As per the Q are they the same and if not whats different apart from the ifs and gearbox crossmember??????. :roll: :)

i believe that the chassis section is different. some of the 2wd chassis is a C section as apposed to the 4wd [] section

Box section? :D

I think but am not 100% sure that the front part of the chassis is different too.

I just wrecked my 2wd Hilux and it is full box section. Probably only differences are front suspension mounting. Cab is the same and rear wouldn't vary either.
