Got the HSE..

Well today Rod and I picked up our new tow rig..96' HSE Range Rover.

First thing we did was take it for a good drive, we ended up at Rainbow Beach :armsup: and we came back down through Gympie.

It didnt take me long to work out how to use all the many buttons and switches :armsup: :armsup: :lol: ;)....i want cruise control and 'puddle lights' on the zook now :armsup: ;)

Would have to say, its the most comfortable car i could think of to drive and be a passenger in. :D :P

Will post pics tomorrow of the new addition to our car family that seems to be expanding at our house :rofl: :armsup: :P

Good for u...

Personally i think it's a Heap of Shit Electronics( pardon me).
Just a tad annoyed as our 4.6HSE suspension is cranky...
When everthing works its a great car.

No doubt the suspension is comfortable, decent power, and well its a Range Rover. U can park it at the porsch of any hotel, not in a yota.
My RIG sucks big time.

A beautiful car indeed. I am still kicking myself for not buying one a few years back - it was a bargain, too.

Just make sure you get a RR nut to do the servicing and it will be good to you.

I went for a ride in one of these and it was my inspiration to buy a Range Rover. Comfort is unreal, perfect length etc but I ended up with the one in the back ground.

Hahaha......rockcrawling the HSE- yes..well..not in his current lifetime or it will be the end of his life altogether. :twisted::D :D

Tis why we have a buggie and a zook for off road/comps only ;) ,the HSE is just to haul the POS's to and from places of interest. ;)

Its unfair cos Rod gets drive it to work daily :cry: otherwise it would suffer bad carpark injuries from inconsiderate @ssholes who like to leave trollies on cars and open their doors too far which leave dints (the pulsar gained many each time i took it) at my work :bad-words: - that is why i'm driving the 'ol CLUNKER' (blue POS) :x :lol:
Which we may mod a little to handle a bit of off-roading ;)

Rod has already asked if he can go ahead in modding the HSE to look similar to this :shock:

Looks good, i like the colour. Very easy to keep clean.

I see that your road already has the "i own a landrover" oil markings to make it easier to find home :D

Tehehe......sure does :lol: , mainly follow the trail of power steer fluid,red's easier to see on a black road :rofl: :D

You should see the top of the driveway :cry: , looks as though the 'haultech' county has been there :? :lol:

What is this "Pulsar" u're reffering to?
The oddest experience we had with a 4.6HSE when we were itchy enough to ramp it and next thing the EAS light warnings started blinking.

We bought an 02 Nissan Pulsar early this year for us to do long trips in :roll: , but every trip we have done this year has been in the 'ol CLUNKER' :x (mainly cos the pulsar didn't have the same amount of pulling power to tow the buggie, in fact, didnt even have a towbar :lol: ;))

It was traded in :armsup: :P

Looks the goods. I have been thinking of these lately. Seen a few under the 20grand mark. Would be nice on gas.
Proably better than the XR6T sedan I was thinking about. It should atleast be able to be used as a touring 4b as well. So keen to see how it goes and any others over the next 12mths.

when they get cheaper, i am planing/hoping to obtain a wrecked (rear end) unit and transfer the body and interior ontop of my curent classic chassis, and makin it into a ute.

Think it would look sweet. and prob end up cheaper than trying to repair all the rust in the body of the classic by the time I find one cheap enough :oops: :)
