MAxxis Bighorns

Post by Diesel 60 »

I had a set of the new Maxxis MT-762 Bighorns fitted in the 235/85R16 size yesterday.

I took a few pics in the carport in bad light, but they'll suffice for now.

First impressions driving home on tarmac are that they're noisier than my 31x10.5R15 BFG ATs were, but aren't as noisy as I was expecting.

Dry bitumen handling seems unaffected but I've only done about 30km. They're getting their first offroad workout this weekend.

They seem to have pretty big voids between the side lugs. Good self clearing i guess but not a hugely long life.
