Can you run diff width tyres on front and back

Hi all, Was just thinking the other day about this,

I have an ifs front end which is as weak as,

could i run like 10.5's on the front and 12.5's on the rear on the stronger solid axle ?

Does anyone do this ?

yes you can. so long as the sizes (diameter) are the same.

Only thing is you have to decide wat you wanna do with your spare :D

isn't 7.50/16 THE difinitive spare tyre size? it works with everything!
