Gas for Tdi?

Post by Hobes »

Anyone had any experience with how the rover diesel motors handle a gas conversion?

I have heard of more and more diesels using gas

I'm collecting the bits and pieces to add lpg to my 300TDi and later to the 4BD1-T if it works as claimed.

On wednesday afternoon I was following a blue 300tdi defender up the mountains it was running lpg/diesel. On the spare wheel cover it had the conversion companies name and phone number. Looked like he had the lpg tanks under the sills.

I got neither.
But the guy was local it was a 47 number, I will try hunt it down for this interested.
