Problems with F20

now i have a problem
well maybe a couple
my fuel gauge on goes to half way then it will sta ythere till it gets bellow half empti and start going down
could it be the fuel gauge or the bit in the tank

i now have a few more problems

PROBLEM 1
i took the brackets off for the bonnet to paint them as they were alittle rusty and now the car wont start

now before i go any further i should tell you there where there little cables going from the the bolt holding the hinge on the body to the bolt holding the hinge on the bonnet then it went to another bolt on the under side of the bonnet

and the noise it make when trying to start sound like the starter motor is jammed or like the engine shakes around and shit but isnt turning over

now im not sure what these wire/cable were there for they looked like they just connected any electricity from the body to the bonnet


problem 2

my electric choke doesnt work
i tried re wiring it still didnt work i cant think of any thing else except the hole mechanism is gonskies

problem 3
having trouble finding parts ive rung a few of the local wreckers and half of them havnt got any thing of use

it'll be an earth wire of some sort you disconnected no biggie just connect it to the body or chassis, under a screw somewhere. That could fix it straight away.

i think i may have found what the problem was i checked the battery was connected properly and the terminal were clean but i think it has gone dead over night

and the water/acid level was low so i have topped it up and put it on charge hope fully that fixes the problem of it not starting

duno Y i didnt check that earlier

still duno about the choke will give it another go tomoro
