Not being a Toyota lover (sorry guys), someone told me that a Prado was bigger than a 100 series Cruiser! Is this true and also does the Prado come in an 8 seater variation with fittings for 3 side facing seats in the rear, as I have only seen them in 7 seater config!?

pretty sure they are only 7 seater and are definitely smaller than a 100/105 series although the interior cabin space could concieveably be LONGER in the prado - the bonnet is a lot shorter as it only comes with 4 cylinder and V6 motors, the 100's have to accomodate inline sixes. The prado is very very narrow when compared to a 100 or even an 80 series.

The Prado is an 8 seater beleive it or not. (Parents have one) and I think the Prado can actually take a greater payload then the 100 series Too!

Does that mean that it could be licensed as an 8 seater? Hence be classed as a commercial vehicle for rego purposes?

Man if you want a rego right off you should make a friend in vic and use their address to register. Only cost me $361 for my FJ60 Cruiser ($82 dollar healthcare rebate too).
