what do i need to adjust my air shocks?

is it hard and can i do it myself at home?

i asume all i need is a cyilinder of nitrogen and a guage to do it?

Or you can also use CO2. Fox have given written approval to Air Up for the use of CO2 in their gas charged shocks. This is what their sponsored off road buggy uses in his triple bypass coil overs

i am also using the Air Up system to charge the Sway Away's on my buggy.
Check out the tech section in Pirate for Bilvista's write up on how to charge them, it pretty much gives you step by step.

You need the chuck that screws onto the shrater valve and a hose that goes between the chuck and the regulator. I had the chuck in my tool box but the hose i had to get enzed to make it up, cost me $170

you can also use a shock pump for a bike but this might take a while.

i'd like to see ya pump up 250+ psi with a bike pump

on my mates cruiser, he is running something like 300 in the front and 250 in the back, with an extra 25ml of oil in each of the shocks, and its still pretty floaty on the road.

he's using 5wt belray fork/shock oil iirc

a shock pump for a bike should go up to 300psi, mine does. i have used it to get my car up to ride height. however it is pumping air which is not inert(unlike co2 and nitrogen). shock pumps are not used for tyres but to pressurise rear shocks and some front forks on high end mountain bikes. and yes it does take for ever, like 15 min per shock. i will not be driving on the shocks with just air in them. i will get co2 or nitro soon.

i bought the regulator and hose off polyperformance in the states. much cheaper than buying it here. i don't know how long it will take to get here though..

Im running 7.5w oil from a motor bike shop. couldnt find any 7w
