what do i need to adjust my air shocks?
is it hard and can i do it myself at home?
i asume all i need is a cyilinder of nitrogen and a guage to do it?

Or you can also use CO2. Fox have given written approval to Air Up for the use of CO2 in their gas charged shocks. This is what their sponsored off road buggy uses in his triple bypass coil overs

i am also using the Air Up system to charge the Sway Away's on my buggy.
Check out the tech section in Pirate for Bilvista's write up on how to charge them, it pretty much gives you step by step.

a shock pump for a bike should go up to 300psi, mine does. i have used it to get my car up to ride height. however it is pumping air which is not inert(unlike co2 and nitrogen). shock pumps are not used for tyres but to pressurise rear shocks and some front forks on high end mountain bikes. and yes it does take for ever, like 15 min per shock. i will not be driving on the shocks with just air in them. i will get co2 or nitro soon.
