hey yall the other day i let my sister drive my rocky around the back yard so she could get some experience before her learners. just as we were finishing up she alomost hit a tree and i managed to yank the wheel around in time to miss it but then it started make the wirring noise u get if u have no pwr steerin fluid. i checked and it still has about 3/4s in it but i looked under the car and it was leakin abit more than usual.

is it the box? how much and any chance of gettin asecond hand one and doin it myself? wat about other ,makes any better ???

to top it off my folks want me to pay for it. sure it was on its way out but come on!!!i wasnt drivin

Flynn Dude, Where are you at? I've got a powersteering box sitting in my garage, just pulled it off my spare rocky. Will part with it if you need one! (for a small price).

Could also look at getting it rebuilt, that way you will know it's good.

A couple of weeks ago my rocky started leaking power steer fluid, degreased it, found out where the leaks were and got a new seal from daihatsu for $15.
Worth a try, better than having to change the whole thing.

yeah mine used to leak alittle bit before but after that it was quite a bit lost

is the rocky pwr steering resivour the same as the feroza, because mine leaks to and i would really like to know how to stop it.
I have also recently noticed a bit of shaking in the steering when going over rough road - same cause ?
