URGENT GQ C.V NEEDED TO HELP RYAN WHO IS STUCK AT STOCKTON!!

Post by Toyo Truck »

Hi guys,

THis will probably get moderated to the WANTED section,
but I just got a call from Ryan (Red SWB GQ) he has broken a
front short-side CV on his GQ and REALLY needs another ASAP.

If ANYONE has a spare short side CV can you please contact me on
0403 043 244 so I can come and pick it up and take it to Stocktons
beaach and help out Ryan cause he is stuck out in the middle of the
dunes with 3 wheel drive

Also if anyone knows where I may be able to get one please let me know

Cheer,
Bart

How'd you go? Why doesn't he just drive or tow out? He's not really hoping to change a CV on the sand is he?

I see I'm a day late, but I'm happy to duck out there if it's any help.

hmm if he's still there when I come down again around new years I shall bring him down a spare cv. Should I charge travel and camping allowance for coming down :?

yea seen the overkill buggy there i think,, you may have seen my shorty out at the servo on 38s and out of action lol we were doin runs in and out in a white shorty (GQ) with a front bar that can only be described as a snow plough lol anyone see us?

the reason we needed a cv is i still had to go back in and rescue our bike trailer and camping stuff so needed 4 wheel drive for that lol but we ended up gettin everything out, now i just need to get me a CV and some spares cause we goin back up there soon haha

thanks to all that offered help out but

Get a Toyota dude.
I know of like 6 dudes that could have supplied a hilux CV.
and cause there the same in the 40 series, 60 series and
EVERY model of hilux from 82 - 95, you can get em just about
anywhere

But yeah, we had fun, just spoke to Shane with the Rangie, he is towing his car back as we speak
What a weekend hey! sooooo much carnage and driving back and forth
all over stocktons!

Cheers,
Bart
