Just heard from Andrew Dyer in one of the Green TJ's going well but snotted a tree and sheared the wheel studs losing the wheel.

On the hunt for wheel studs :)

do they need some? prehaps ask on www.ausjeepoffroad.com

yeah on one of the satges they had a bit of trouble they took a while getting their double line pull set up and then the wire wasnt long enough so they had to get a extension strap. Then thier winch struggled in the bog hole.

Have just spoken to Wally (80ute) and out of the 8 vehicles from our club (Vic All Terrain) 4 were in the top 6 going into todays stages

1st - Adam Obrien & Shane Baguley (Bagsy) in a white turbo diesel 80 series wagon
2nd - Scotty Allison in a blue big block 45 series extra cab ute
3rd - Rob Norris in John Bidwell's white chev 45 series extra cab ute
6th - Wally Radivo in the big block 80 series extra cab tray

Wally in the new look 80 series tray had a good day and believes he took out the wniching stage by a fair margin and was quickest on another stage but broke some bunting :bad-words:

Rob and Johnny had a consistant day.

Scotty busted a front diff and dnf'ed a stage but got a diff from Neil Cooper and is mobile again.

Adam also had a good day with no major dramas.

Hopefully these guys will be fighting it out tomorrow on the final 3 stages

Should be going down tomorrow (stuck at work on night shift atm :bad-words: ) to cheer the boys on.

Well the 2 you mentioned on SS9 i dont recall happening on SS9
SS9 had a little panel damage, 1 CV (last car of the day) and someone lost power steering apparently.

Back at work now after being there for todays stages. Haven't got much time to write all of todays happenings as I have work to do :bad-words:

Going into todays stages the Craig Elliott in the black landy had a lead of 150pts of over Wally (80ute) in second followed by Adam Obrien and Bagsy in the white 80 series wagon and not sure of the rest of the order.

Craig Elliiott had a pretty good day with no DNF's so built an unassailable lead.

Wally had a disappointing day with a disqualification on the first stage due to his navvy being unbuckled while reversing back out of a bog hole and dnf'ing the next stage I think due to a pinched rope issue :bad-words:

Adam & Bagsy in the white 80 series had a pretty good day I think he was the only one to drive all of SS10 and ran a reasonable time on SS11 and SS12. So he's got a good chance of picking up second. Not bad for a turbo diesel 80 wagon but will now be cut into a ute due to the amount of panel damage

Generally today there was plenty of air time at the start of SS10 and at the rock ledge near the end of the stage with Justin Worden's blue rangie ending up on its side on the rock ledge.

Bog hole on SS11 got chopped out really badly and claimed quite few DNF's.

I didn't make it over to SS12 but heard it had a boghole that chopped out a bit but don't think there would have been many DNF's.

Hopefully someone will come good with some results soon ;)

In the end a great day with entertaining stages. Well done to organiser's, marshals and competitors

Hope to post a couple of pics later.

you fellas did well, no doubt about it. at least you were there having fun hey.. honestly though i think you will need to work on your approach and departure clearances at vehicle point. it seemed to have held you up all weekend. other than that it was quite capable for a troopy :D
