want to know is it worth it an where can it be done.

also what size system should i run for better performance.

an whats the best way of getting a snorkle an cheapits way but.

an is there anything else i can doo to my 85 surf/4runner to help it out in everyway.

The best bang for buck mod would be a bigger exhaust, say 3" dump pipe if you have a turbo on it, to a 2&1/2" system with freeflow muffler and flex pipe.
Cheapest Snorkle - PVC pipe & elbows.

From what little I know bout intercoolers, bout $500 all up for top mount which has less lag time. Do a search on the surf site there was some discussion bout this a while ago. http://www.toyotasurf.asn.au/

Yeah I have done it with my Bundera using a top mount wrx intercooler. All up it cost under $200 and my time. Helped it out a little.

Remember when you only have stuff all kW 10% more is still stuff all ;)
