looking at buying an 80 series

Post by tennismark »

Being a newbie to the 80's cruiser, I would like to know what to look for as Im not too clued in on all the good and bad. Thought u guys on here will know alot more than me.
Trying to decide whether a diesel or petrol /gas will be better. I want a tourer/club/weekend warrior truck.Nothing too wild or competing.
Thinking manual will be what i want, but from there not to sure.
If theres any info u guys can share that will be appreciated.
Also what lift is good without too much mods,i like to fit 33's. Cheers and i'll like as much feed back as possible

There was quite an in depth discussion on this not to long ago. Have a search and you'll find plenty of useful info. Joel
