sunrasia rims

Post by G_loomis »

How much would you expect to pay for a set of 4 (new) 15 x 8 Sunrasias. I think ROH is the better brand for these style of rims...correct me if I am wrong!

Anything within spitting distance of $60 is about right for each rim.

I was quoted $73 for supply of 15x8 rims including fitting and balancing of my own second-hand 33" MTRs.

I thought this was pretty reasonable.

I don't know if ROHs are better but then I don't really know what you want from a rim - Sunraysia's are cheap and I haven't heard of them failing much, so I don't see any reason to pay more.

I have a set of ROH sunnies and a set of Speedy sunnies.
The ROH seem a fair bit stronger, I have bent 2 of the Speedys.

But then maybe its just that I was driving harder on the Speedies I cant really say, but I will still be asking for ROH rims in the future.

The main reason for the question I asked is just to see what everyone has been paying. Because I can get BRAND NEW 15 x 8 ROH sunrasias for $46/rim DELIVERED!

If I get enough interested people I will place a order for a few sets...I am sure that if I can get enough orders (say maybe 5 sets), I could get a cheaper price still. I am not making any profit on this personally, just trying to do a favour for my fellow 4wd-ers.

Just to make the deal even sweeter it is next day delivery!

when i bought my claws, i got a full set of Roh and i paid 49 each for them, and i asked for a price on gold and black ones, gold was 79each and black was a wopping 109 each. thats when the guy at tyre power told me to spray my own for cheaper, as i was going to anyway.

i've bent a roh centre pretty good with 39s. too expensive to replace the entire set with new beadlocked rims. so every time i pretzel one, i have to buy a new rim and use the centre. g_loomis, get me some centers!

Do the Procomp rims have a stronger rim section too or just the heavy 10mm centre?
Are they available in different offsets (ie more than a standard sunni) ?
Anyone got an idea of price for a 15x8?

After seeing where you busted one of the speedy rims I would say you would benefit from a bit more side wall ;) like some 36 tsls

i will find out what colours are available...and what offsets.

As for delivery...I can only get them delivered to my company (sth brisbane...beenleigh) hence why they are so cheap.

Yes well the TSLs will deffinatly reduce the chance of the rim bending :) The second air beadlocks will probably help too ;) .
But I still would like them on a stronger rim.
