turboing a 2L does not make it a 2L-T - the bottom end of a 2L-T is substantially stronger than the 2L, and it doesn't take a lot of boost to kill a 2L.

boost gauge should be teed into the boost compensator feed line on the fuel pump. if you are not fitting the turbo fuel pump, anywhere on the inlet manifold/crossover.

BOV is a waste of time, it will not work* and will not achieve anything**.

*unless you have a throttle butterfly, some imported surf 2.4's do AND you are boosting over 10 - 11psi (better not to unless you intercool).

** with high boost and a throttle butterfly it will reduce boost spiking but you NEED both high boost and a throttle butterfly to need it and for it to do anything

what is a dump return pipe?? a dump pipe is the pipe from the back of the turbo, there are gains to be had by fitting a larger exhaust yes. or are you talking about a plumback pipe from the BOV? not strictly necessary on a non-EFI engine but helps skeep the system waterproof/dustproof.

ok thanks for that dumbdunce i am nto fitting the injector pump but there is a fitting on the bottom of the crossover pipe so it looks like i will be using that. are there any differences between how the mechanical guages and electrical guages work or do they alls till take a vacumm line?
