Any one know more about this, looks like a custom track racer from its lowness and suspension setup to me, but full custom firbeglass? vitara body work :/

Any one seen it before?

Looks like a poor relation/copy of one of these - the Dakar/Bush Rangie:

Actually the 2nd pic looks like a real (range rover based) Dakar.

Considering it's IFS front it looks like a Vitara base..... not a sierra

I said vitara up the top, the pic was called sierra when i got it...

Interesting club, y would they all want the same custom cab though?

lol i saw that, ah k so they are some kit thing for $14k, looks there there was 1 or 2 in comps a few years ago, go any good?

Are some independant suspension on the front and some solid axle coil?

the rover based ones are awsome the parents drove a few around wilst trying to raffle one off

they were pretty cool and relaxing

i rember the owner of the place that sells them here
john davies or some thing close he had a custom one of his own with full hydraulic suspension
thats going back a few years though probally about 10 or 12 years ago if not more

the one at the top is a rotax, on a vitara base

the bottom one is probly a serria base

IIRC the Dakar 4x4 body shell started out as a widened and lengthened Rotrax body shell (with permission from the Rotrax designer). IIRC Rotrax were originally for Cortina base, but later adapted to Suzukis etc.

John Davis imported and built a few Dakar 4x4 kits, then started manufacture here. At one time those manufactured here were called Bush Rangie, later they were called Bush Ranger (once problem with name rights were sorted).

John Davis still makes them.

Rhino Buggies wanted to import/build Dakar 4x4, but they stuffed him around too much.

I think Rovacraft in WA also import Daka 4x4.

Dave (Bushy555) could correct me if I am wrong.
