My torsion bars are cactus (this I know for sure) and need replacing and I though I might as well try to get the triton lifted 2" while I'm at it.
Anyway saw the fella at Peddars who said there is no point in getting raised leafs in the rear as the front can't be lifted to the same height (this I suspected).
I then went to the fella at TJM to compare prices on heavy duty torsion bars and front shocks. Started talking and he tells me that he can get the front up to height of the rear with 2" lifted springs.
I know front lift is very limited on a triton- will raised leafs allow more lift at the front or not?????

i lifted my triton on the weekend
went with 2 inch rears and new HD torsion bars then wound the front up to be level
i could get more height out of the front but i think the height its at is a good compromise between component life and height
just to give you an idea i have a mk duel cab and it is 990mm from the ground to the wheel arch in the rear and 980 in the front
my prevous measurements were 870 and 930

Good to hear Badger,
I'm going with a full TJM kit with HD torsion bars, 50mm lifted leafs and all new shocks- I'll be very happy if I end up with similar results to what you got.
By the way TJM took nearly $500 off the cost of the kit and fitting because I brought a mate along who also wanted a lift kit on his bravo- he also got the same discount. I'll keep going back to TJM if that's the way they do business

Meh...
thats a great discount
i have got a "vip" card with my local tjm and even then they took off only $50
so i went elsewhere as the 1700 they quoted was just to much for me
i ended up doing mine for 1100 and i am very happy with the way it handels weight, drives on road (even with the sway bar currently off) and most importantly flexes offroad
good luck id be interested to see some pics when you are done
