BA-BF Falcon V8 into GQ Patrol; Anyone Attempted?

Post by Hoss »

Has anyone looked into fitting the current model Falcon V8 into a GQ-GU Patrol?
Maybe the width of the motor is a hassle?
Any info appreciated.

could you post or pm me rough $ so i have an idea for future reference, also i am assuming they would fit into an au falcon as the platforms should be the same / similar. Might work out cheaper than a turbo etc

we have std BA motors & turbo motors aswell.
we are almost finished developing a interface to take all the security out of the BA ECU so that the motor can be used with the original ecu and can also be tuned via a laptop
this has been a long time coming and will make these engine conversions much cheaper than they have been in the past.

5.4 std motor starts at around $3500
GT 5.4 & 5 speed complete $12000
