i had a look under my diesel MQ shorty and it only had 3 leaves up front and 4 up rear. Is this standard? it seems a bit meager for such a big 4b
Mine where all the same length. And the ride was great. I miss them and sometimes i wish i got rid of them.gone fishin wrote:most likely all the leaves are the same length are they, if so these are parabolic leaves and 3 or 4 is normal but you won't get real good load carrying ability, but they give a softer ride and flex better than staggered packs
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)
They are much thicker leaves if there is 3 in the front and they are all the same length as stated above...
mine had 6 up front and were very thin, rears had 5 i think and were 8mm thick i think from memory....
my fronts if in a large pack are only 6mm thick, and weak, if you remove leaves on the smaller type they wrap on you very quickly....
My lux leaves are 8mm and i run 5 including a small front one so only 4 of any size, they flex like buggery with the shackle setup and down wrap.....
your leaves are perfect for what your use is... my pick of the setups
screwy
