For anyone arriving early on friday, you will see a heap of areas bunted off with yellow tape in the camping area. Please do not camp in these areas. we will only kick you out when we get there.

I plan to be up there by lunch time at the latest, as I'm sure I'm gonna have a lot of last minute running around to do friday.

Hope everyone's pumped, should be a great weekend.

See ya's up there!!!!

Team Bega Road Wreckers are ready and willing to defend our title to the death. :D We even put new cable ties on "Bob". I kid you not it even has a (1) new tyre.

We don't have a half track vehicle this year but we still intend to keep all officials and event organisers on their toes. It is our responsibility after all and we take the job very seriously.  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Lets go and have some fun.

So we have had incredible fitness training thanks largely to the Australian Army training centre at Canungra and the help of a certain former SAS officer whom we cannot name. We have been dropped into the middle of my mothers cousins cattle property near Duchess in north west Qld and had just two days to find our way back to the homestead surviving on minimum rations and finding our own water so we are pretty happy with the endurance training to this point.

Our motivation has come from fantastic mental preparation by the AFL's coaching ambassador David "Parko" Parkin from the Carlton football club.

Our greatest concern at this point is our sprint training, or lack of it. If there is anything out there shorter than the equivalent of a 10 klm run we will be in trouble. We have been sending Brett on short hill sprints but we need to know if that is enough.

Will we need sprint training Simon?

Hi buddy, how you doin? I don't have to worry about reliability Alby I'm in "Bob the Builder" with Phil "MAVERICK" Harris and we are keen to light the fires and kick tyres.

Look forward to seeing you.

Well done on the team name boys, will Daisy be with you? Wish we had thought of that one back when we all used to play with those Zuk things. They would have all been painted orange too don't you worry.

Good luck.
