was driving around on saturday (td42) when it just died after a bit of searching worked out that there was no fuel going to injectors so i bleed the system and away she went but it keept cutting out but didnt stop so i have been looking for somewhere it might be sucking air but today it died and will not go even after bleeding have checked all lines and tightened all hose clamps can anyone give me a possible cause or soloution could it be that the injector pump has died

have you checked the filter on top of the fuel pump, it is an in the line filter. WIll need to disconnect the fuel supply pipe to check

Make sure there is a rubber ring between the top of your filter and the lift pump/bleeder pump.

mine used to cutout like this and I found that the filter was blocked even though the previous owner was charged for a new filter at the service just before I bought it......he gave me all receipts.....

new filter and everything was good....
