ok what i want to know is i have a g16b out of a swift sedan and the bottom end is rooted :bad-words:

can i just bolt a g16a bottom end to it ?
will it change the compression ?
will the 16v head just bolt on a g16a engine?

You'll need the G16B 16v pistons.

Yup. The G16B has the cut outs for 16V valvetrain....

im thinking the big end bearing is shot but i know nothing about engines so its oly a guess. Can this be fixed thought the sump with the engine still in the car?

yup, i rebuilt my zook engine while it was still in the car, new rings and bearings.

as long as the crank aint too bad u can just change them from in the car.

Ended up picking up a hole swift so im just going to throw that engine in save a lot of stuffing around

The mains don't wear as bad as they are bigger. You can just change the lower mains as they will be the loaded/worn ones.
