what gearboxs are in the late model hilux's

does any one know what the code is for the manual gear boxes and was the a difference between deisel and petrol

The 89 - 97 series diesel and petrol ran g52.

The 97 - 04 series 2.7 petrol had w56 (or w58?) which is apparently a teensy bit stronger than g52 and interchangeable.

97 - 04 3.0 litre diesel not sure but the turbo diesel had the stronger r151 box.

03 - 04 3.4 v6 petrol had r151 box too.
