Yeah its getting old. I sent an email to OTT to see what the go is there. Otherwise I might go the LAB route. Might be worth paing the premium to get around the waiting with my thumb in a naughty place.

Can't say I like buying outside of australia but saving $400 is saving $400. Even with all the time and stuffing about I'd still rather go this route. Mind you I could be eating my words when in 6 weeks time when I bight the bullet and buy local.

i can agree with a $400 saving but what happens when the arms arnt right the first time cuase they arnt used to making ones for left hand drive, and then you gotta send em back or pony up more $$ for a shop locally to have a look and try and fix em

I'm quite surprised that you haven't heard back from the ott guys lately. I've seen them posting up on other boards. . . Could your e-mail messages look like "nigerian scam" type messages???

try them again. i talked to them for almost an hour a few weeks ago about something that i never even suggested buying. Just talking shop. . . .

Yep, I sent one on last Thursday and haven't heard anything back. It shouldn't be coming up as spam as its my work email.

Its starting to sound like plain old excuses now. That last email I got couldn't be much more than a week ago and he said the only problem was the materials. Now he's saying the material is there but the problem is workload?

I have now rounded it down to this.........no more bullshit from the USA guys, im gonna get Aussie stuff.....at the moment looking at stuff from Superior Engineering and ORI.

New dilemma though is this........Do i go Hi steer or do i go double arm x/over? Someone told me recently that the double arm x/o will give me a better feel to my steering, but i cant see how Hi steer would be much different really :crazyeyes: can anyone else enlighten me

I run the hysteer setup like OTT has. very good bump steer. Go Hydro assist, you won't regret it.

In Canada, i might have problems with a Vehicle Inspection, but only with the suspension part and bumper height. Steering is Ok here as long as it's not a heim or rod-end style. Those are 1 ton off-the-shelf TREs.

There's virtually no bump steer at all. it's a true 4 link. 39 degrees separation on the upper link angle (optimum 41+) degrees

go the hi steer over the double cross over., more clearance, stronger arms.

i had the snake hi steer on my old lux and it was sweet!

i know Highsteer is better and stronger but does highsteer and crossover both drive the same on the road? or is one still better than the other?

Well I've just ordered my Snake Racing Hi Steer stuff and various other bits and pieces from them.

I am just about to give up..

Where is the cheapest place to get the crossover double steering arm?

Superior only do the welded jobby and not sure i want to go down that road, while ORI do the cast but at $460 + postage think its a little steep.

Anyone else do the double steering arms?

Got an email from SKY yesterday saying the arms will be ready by the end of next week. They are making 10 pairs of arms on this run.

Bout time is all I can say..
