L20B

Post by chunderlicious »

ok i just got a great deal on a dato bluebird with L20B and auto.... i had to take it.... just wondering why no one here has talked about it. 2 litre inline 4...itll be a squeeze by the look of it but ill make it fit. i have a 1 litre NT zook in peices. a bare chassis infact with body just sittin ontop and springs "placed" withmakeshift shackles and the diffs tied on.

have i bitten off more than i should have?

it could be done!
they fit v6's in easy so!
my mate had one.. with duel webbers they go hard as!
that was in a blue bird tho
your biggest problem will be the length of the motor + radiator and fan etc

both will have to mod the intake for injectors and throttle body but that will be easy enough
for an old motor swap it realy hauls arse only prob is driveshaft vibration under full throttle. looking at another type of gearebox to solve the prob so far so good
