Jack G/B in a Deo?

Post by Vulcanised »

I am thinking about converting my Rodeo to auto while i have it stripped to the chassis...... although the 2.8T/D didn't come in auto..... i'm looking into whether one out of a Jackaroo will fit..... any ideas? I was under the impression that they came out in the 2.8, but apparently they only came out in the 3.1 (mechanical) and 3.0 (electronic) versions.....

There couldn't be much involved to fit an auto. The mechanical one would be easier i'd suspect. Well worth the time to look.
09 Cruiser Tray ARB Bull Bar/side bars, dual batts, 3" Superiour lift, MTZs, other stuff. More to come!!!
90 Sierra Soft top, 3" body 2" spring lift, 31" Claws, 5.14 Calmini, more to do.

I'm pretty sure the auto is an 4L30-e or somthing like that there is info on http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?Cat=&C=15 I think, and I also think the Jackaroo would be the same...

I also have an auto transfer here for sale if you wanted to buy it and just get a box to go with it...

Cheers

i have sourced an auto out of a 4JB1T powered MU from Southside Wreckers in Brisbane..... $1,450 for the complete gearbox and console with shifter..... just gotta get the cash together now. I haven't even looked at the auto G/B... would the transfers be able to be piggy-backed? dual transfer would be nice :D

i don't suppose you have a picture of the transfer? how much do you want for it? from what i am told, it is possible to piggy-back the transfer cases.... if thats the case, i want to do a dual transfer
