This is the design guys, just router cut out of 1.6mm aluminium to ensure the program is correct for the laser machine.

The end product will be 6mm steel.

They weigh 3kg each and will be posted from Taren Point NSW 2229

In the pics the ring is around 20mm wide, i will add another 5mm to the outer edge of the ring just for a bit of extra meat.

There is an egde at the top and one at the bottom that i have run parallel to the stock mounting surfaces to make it easier to mate these up to stock mounts.

Is there any feedback before i cut these out?

I'm doing a run of 20 this week and it will be first in best dressed with some coin.
Ring me on 0424 671 940 or email me at roctoy_fabrications@yahoo.com.au to get banking details.

If they prove popular i will do another run and keep them in stock.

Cheers Chris

roc70y - you'll have to replace your prototype with one of these works of art. very professional looking.. why dont you paint them some bright colour and call them " THE MOST EAGERLY ANTICIPATED PRODUCT OF THE YEAR" then charge $100ea for them... After i get mine of course. :P

i'll send a few PM's to the Westys.

It only depends how you mount it. if you just bolt it on it's not going to do s**t, but if you make it part of your mounts then yes if should help hold it together.

so like on the first page, run 2 arms off it and bolt to the chassis???

Or better to run it elsewhere?

I just dont want to get one and then stuff it up through lack of knowledge =P

Dewse - how do i get money to you?

what this ring is supposed to do is take some of the load on the casing from the 4 small bolts on each side and distribute it onto the all the bolts around the case, thus putting a small amount of load on each of the bolts instead of alot of load on 8 bolts.

it is up to the individual how they fix this ring to their stock mounts, it would require some welding.

There is no guarantee that this will make a zook t'case indestuctable, but it is definitely an improvement on the stock design.

Will work it out when I am ready to order.

most probably direct debt, or cash when you pick it up or I drop it off.
