G52 to Supra Auto

Post by V6 Bundy »

I saw this the other day and it got me thinking. I have an 85 Bundera with a V6 Chev using a Dellows bellhousing onto the standard G52 manual gearbox. If the bellhousing was removed from the Supra Auto could this be stuck on the Dellows one I have already? If so, does anyone know what difference in lenght this would make? If not, what would the best option for auto be? I have searched on here and other sites nut have come up empty handed when it comes to the Chev/Toyota drivetrain.

Liam.

You probably mean R151 but either way NO as the auto is completely different to the manuals.

But I do have a rare Advance Adapters bell that fits a Chev to a Toyota auto and its for sale :D

But what's wrong with either a GM T700/400/350 ?

He could also meen a G52 that was behind a 22R petrol engine
the R151 was fitted behind the turbo diesel

You are right, I did mean G52. Above posts have been changed.

There is no problem with using the GM autos, I just thought using the Supra box would save on space and adapters.

Oh well. I was a nice thought

My soon-to-be new ride (62 series) runs a GM V8 to the stock yota auto. Not sure if the bell housing came from Dell or Marks.
