I know someone who has done it on his bj73 13bt. I dont know statistics on it, but he said it has a good gain. The main benefit is that it runs cooler, and you can up the psi on your turbo.
there is no gain unless you also increase the boost. you need an EGT probe to tune it properly. front mount is best, there is less chance of heat soaking into the cooler from the engine, which happens a lot with top mounts, even with a fan.
hopefully Carts will post some pics of his front mount in his 60 which we got in for under $1000 including all the plumbing in stainless from Windsor Exhaust Centre.
