GQ Q's

Post by ozy1 »

FIrst of all from what i have been told, The short arm on the bottom of the steering box is called a Pit arm, is this correct?

second, will a GU pit arm (if thats what its called) fit onto a GQ Steer box? Is the spline the same size? shaft? Arm length? tie rod size?

any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's called a pitman arm. The spline on the box is different from GQ to GU. So a GU Pitman arm won't fit on a GQ.
Try buying a GU Box instead, they are dearer but stronger and if your box isn't broken you could sell it off to cover the extra cost.
