G'day all i went down the wreckers to find out a price on some diff centers he said 500 a piece and if i give him my 3.9's he'll give me a good deal he reckons, i wanted 4.11 but he only has 4.3 what kind of revs would i be doing at a 100 and would the fuel consumption change much its a tb42 manuel?
any advice would be much appreciated

4.3 will be better for offroad, but wont be as good for long distance.

My GQ is a LWB with 285x75xR16s. I have recently changed from 4.1s to 4.3 and the vehicle drives noticeably better. As for fuel consumption - I have only had two fills (LPG) since the conversion, one towing to the bush and the other city mileage and both seem to be better. Even though the TB42E has extractors and a 2.5" system, it was working quite hard with the 4.1s.

Ive gone from 4.1-4.6 and it revs higher but doesnt seem to suck the juice much more.But thats with 31s will be the same revs when i put the 35s on
I have a front 4.3 you could have for $100+ freight .
Im in perth.
so what revs you do at 120 with the 31's on
