Gday first of all i did search and i still have some questions regarding coil conversion on the rear of a sierra.
1) When converting a leaf sprung sierra to coils, would it be safe to run the trailing arm links from the original sierra leaf mounts?? They would be plated on both sides and across the front of the mount.
2) In a triangulated 4 link setup would flex be limited by the lenght of the links?? (trailing arms and top links)
3) And if anyone has any ideas on coils, links or joints that have been used in this type of coil setup please let me know.
Pics would also be nice!!
Thanks alot.

sierra - leaf to coil conversion
1984 Hilux dualcab.
use standard gq bushes they have good misalignment and dont give any vibration
you could use the standars leaf mounts provided they were strengthened
and also since yours is choped its ok the links can be long enough because ou will be able to move the diff.
you should be rite to use jimny rear coils or even vitara rear thou they may be a little stiff.
trianglulated 4 link requires a lot of thought and needs correct measurement to be a good setup
maby a a frams 3 link would be better
