I don't want to seem stupid, but the tyre sizes of 32" and 33" seem to bo to the 11.5" section width.swbpajero wrote:If your going 32x10.5 on your standard 15x7 rims you should have no problems.
I have 32x11.5 on a set of 15x8 navara off set rims, and I get very, very minor rubbing on the inside of the guard when at full lock and full compression.

I'm looking into doing new tyres for my shorty and was wanting to go 32" to 33" but I'm not to keen on the wider section of the tyres.
Fitting to standard paj rims. These rims are 8" wide are they not.( 92 SWB)

hey johnyswb,
dude im pretty sure ull find that most standard rims on the jabbers, well nh/nj im pretty sure are 15x7JJ, thats 7" wide, not 8". dont quote that, im pretty sure, maybe someone else shall be able to help, but either way it should be pressed onto the inside of the rim somehwere, sometimes even the outside. as far as 33s on 7"s, heaps say dont, heaps say do, i dunno, theyre meant to go on 8"-10" rim, but when i get back from going away, if i havent found a set of 15x8s ill be fitting them on the 7"s. some might not even fit them to 7s, but the thing is ull have more roll in the sidewalls on skinnier rims and the sidewalls will be more prone to punctures when wheeling, hope this helps,

Re: wheels
just tell the tire fitter that they are going on a buggy. Or go to "honest joe's discount tires" chances are they wont even care, espically if you pay cash and dont want a receiptklrevo wrote:hey johnyswb,

but from what i understand, most gen 1 / 2 jabbers came with either 15x7 or 16x6. i think ( i'v got a set of 16 x 6 off a nh in the garage )
