hey guys

have heard some guys talking about having these boxes in there mq's.

they are for diesels mostly by the looks of it but can i make it fit my motor?

swap the bellhousing? input shaft?

any info would be good.

i actually found a 6 speed cabstar box wonder what the ratios are on that?

I had a cabstar 5 speed behind my Chev, but it broke... :cry:

how hard was it to fit?

can i fit one to my petrol with just the bellhousing and input shaft swap?

I fitted the complete Chev & 5 speed as one piece. would have been a simple bolt in if my Patrol hadn't had the divorced t'case before the swap (Different chassis mounts)

No idea about the L28 fitment sorry.

I still have the box, complete with gearbox to t'case adaptor you can have for $300ono. The gearbox has a broken input gear and damaged cluster (Quoted $1400 to repair) but the adaptor is fine. You could even just swap it to another gearbox.
