:lol: I have recently bought my first 4x4 an 83 nissan patrol built in the 11th month could you please tell me if it is a mq or not as it says it is a 160 series in the manual thanks :D :P

Has it got square headlights or round headlights?

Though all in all they are the same car more or less from 1980 through to 1987.

Front shackles are different too, Mq's generally have straight shackles & Mk have offset shackles

mq for sure if it was an mk it would read K160

Nope, the designation is WRG160. The MQ-K is just a designation given for OZ as the government require it.
