need to know what connection is the input and output on a 60 series steering box

Mate i am not sure but if you are really at a loss take both hoses off start her up and get some one to turn the wheel. You will soon know which one is pumping it out :D

thats all good and well if its a standard setup

im fitting 60 series steering into a 40 series with a sigma power steering pump


ive since got the info from a mate

the connection at the front closer to the radiator is the high pressure input and the one at the rear is the output
