BJ 73 rear window

Post by RN »

A friend of mine broke the right side rear window nearest the spare and was quoted about $560.00 for a new Toyota replacement. He has a lot of persplex that he could cut out a replacement but would need a template.

Any clues as to templates or is there a cheap glass replacement out there that he is unaware of ? He is located in south east Melbourne suburb.

hi there

I broke mine 3 times in a row (bad luck with mower) :)

I ended up going for a flat piece of glass. tinted to match the car no one notices its not standard.

Standard does have a curve to it, but I was tired of buying 2nd hand toyota ones and smashing them.

THe Flat piece was $100 fitted.

I hope this helps

You should be able to get one fairly cheap from a wrecker. They are the same as the troupy rear window
