spring over on a 60
i need to no what i need to get and do so i can do a spring over. can any one help?
Fairly straight forward as long as you have your wits about you and some understanding of pinion angles, drive shaft angles, required shocker dimensions, track bar geometry, engineerable hi steer components and spring operation.
Cutting and welding the mounts is common sense but be careful to keep the front mounts parallel with the old ones. The rear can be tipped up slightly. You will also need a rear traction bar because of the differing dynamics, forces and angles working on the softened leaves (reduce the number of leaves in each pack so that it is not a stupid 10 inch lift but is a managable 4 or 5 with flat super flexy packs).
