My mate has a factory rear D/L vacum operated & it doesn't activate
When he bought it it locked & wouldn't release when it did release it doesn't want to engage again where should he start looking

solenoids in the engine bay, also is the actuator on the diff dinged badly, quick search should reveal other threads that will explain all about factory diff locks

Check also for rotted out electrical connections near the rear diff... but in your case it sounds more likely to be the solenoids....


I could probably let you have one of mine cheap so I can do the solenoid upgrade in the threads specified :D
