I've seen solid axle Hilux power steering used in a 40 series. A 45 series should be similar. An adapter plate can be made to fit the gearbox where it mates to the chassis and 60 series pump and lines are used .

Here is a picture on a LHD 40 series (warning: large picture file)

Have a look here http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... highlight= would be easier on a 2f because you can get a 60 series powersteer pump that mounts high on the block so no need to modify radiator hoses and the like i think. I dont know if the swivel hubs are the same on a 45/75 so you may have trouble using the draglink and tie rod i used :D
If at first you dont succeed.......get a bigger HAMMER!!!

Ive seen it done using an 80 series pump and box. Mounts to the chassis in front of drivers side shock absorber (on the outside). Looked real neat and did away with that relay rod that can foul on the shock. Thinking of doing it to mine when I have funds.
