just fitted a mongoose car alarm to my disco and am trying to find out how to wire the central locking up to the alarm so as to have remote locking have found 2 signal wires but when hooked up just makes the actuators bounce any help appreciated

do they bounce because you have the door open?

some cars wont let you lock the door when its open.

the alarm will have two combinations of locking & unlocking.

one is positive lock/unlock
other is negative lock/unlock

this is dependant on the car you have and which combination it requires.

try using the main lock/unlock switch in the car, most cars have them on the drivers door. and this will show you which wires to use.
